This collection showcases the journal articles and other publications authored by researchers in the Division of Preventive and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The Division's faculty and staff study the role of health behaviors in the prevention and management of disease, develop interventions that promote health behavior change, and seek to broadly promote the implementation and dissemination of their work. The Division was founded in 1983 in the Department of Medicine by Judith K. Ockene, PhD., MEd., MA, and joined the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences in 2018.
