Abstract
Correctional psychiatrists have a responsibility to advocate for the clinical needs of inmates and to educate other staff about the importance of treatment. They also have an obligation to act with sensitivity to institutional concerns. The treatment of ADHD poses an especially difficult challenge in this regard.
